External Affairs Division (de)
The Coast Guard District Northwest (CGD-NW) External Affairs Division provides strategic guidance and support to the Northwest District Commander, Staff and field units on international, governmental, tribal affairs, and public affairs matters. Through the development of positive communication, interaction and outreach, Northwest District External Affairs endeavors to advance and strengthen external relationships to promote Coast Guard strategic objectives and highlight operational successes throughout the district. The External Affairs mission posture is guided by the Coast Guard’s core values, the Commandant’s Direction, and the district Commander’s Strategic Intent.
