Executive Officer: Lieutenant Commander Jayme L. Dubinsky
Lieutenant Commander Jayme Dubinsky reported to USCGC ACTIVE in July 2018, where she currently serves as the Executive Officer.
A native of Southington, Connecticut, LCDR Dubinsky graduated from the Coast Guard Academy in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. Her first assignment was as the Assistant Engineer Officer on USCGC HAMILTON (WHEC-715), homeported in San Diego, CA. Following her tour on HAMILTON, she stood up Maintenance Augmentation Team (MAT) Kings Bay as the MAT Supervisor and Port Engineer for the Navy-owned, CG-operated 87’ WPBs responsible for escorting submarines to and from the dive point. LCDR Dubinsky attended graduate school at the University of Michigan from 2009 to 2011, earning a Master of Engineering in Concurrent Marine Design and a Master of Science in Engineering in Industrial Operations Engineering. Following graduate school, she was stationed as the Engineer Officer on board USCGC ESCANABA, based in Boston, MA from 2011 to 2014. Her most recent staff assignment was in the Office of Naval Engineering (CG-45) as the Long Range Enforcer (LRE) Product Line Systems Manager, where she was responsible for Naval Engineering policy development, resource planning, and configuration control for the 282’ WMEC, 378’ WHEC, and 418’ WMSL cutters.
LCDR Dubinsky’s personal awards include three Commendation Medals, the Achievement Medal, two Commandant’s Letter of Commendation, and the Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal.
She resides in Port Angeles, WA with her dog, Ruby. When not working, she enjoys trail running, camping, and kayaking.
