Lieutenant Commander Linden M. Dahlkemper

 

Photo of Lieutenant Commander Linden M. DahlkempeLCDR Linden Dahlkemper assumed command of the USCGC SEQUOIA in July 2022 after serving in the Office of Defense Cooperation at the US Embassy in Hanoi, Vietnam.

She held previous command of Coast Guard Cutter JAMES RANKIN, homeported in Baltimore, MD, with earlier afloat tours as the Operations Officer on Coast Guard Cutter ASPEN in San Francisco, CA, and as a Deck Watch Officer on Coast Guard Cutter WALNUT in Honolulu, HI.

Other tours ashore included serving on the Presidential Transition Team as a 2016 White House Fellow and teaching courses in American Government and Public Policy at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy in New London, Connecticut.

LCDR Dahlkemper graduated from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and holds an M.S. in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University. A native of Erie, Pennsylvania, she lives in Guam with her spouse Mark and son Clarke.
